Carl is the founder of the independent firm VAL Trust Financial Group and has been assisting clients with their retirement planning goals since 1999 when he received his life and health insurance licenses. He went on to pass the Series 65 securities exam in 2008 to become an Investment Advisor Representative. In addition, to working with his personal clients, Carl has created financial planning manuals for four estate planning organizations with over 300 financial representatives. Those representatives have utilized his unique Legacy, Financial and Health Care planning strategies to help create the retirement plans for their clients.

VAL Trust uses their proprietary comprehensive V-A-L-U-E Process to help clients achieve their overall retirement planning goals. Carl has served as a co-host and contributor to the show “Real Talk Texas” on KLIF 570 AM. He is a veteran who served as a linguist in the service. Today, Carl lives in McKinney, Texas with his wife Nancy and in their free time they enjoy traveling, gardening and spending time with their family.
